Using myrimis First Time

Register a myrimis account

Step 1: Go to myrimis homepage - http://www.myrimis.com/

Step 2: Click "sign up now!"

Step 3: Create your own Userman,Password and fill in your personal information

Step 4: Review and accept the "Terms & Conditions",click "Register"

Step 5: We will send a "Confirmation email" to your e-mail account, click the link to activate your account

Step 6: Congragulation! you have complete the registration process and feel free to login Now

Login & Configuration

Step 1: Go to myrimis homepage - [1]

Step 2: Type your "Username" & "Password"

Step 3: Click "Login"

Step 4: After logging in, you can go to "My Profile" to amend or add new object like family members, car to your profile or update your own records with more information

Step 5: For all the input information, you can make it visible to your friends (Select "Public") or keep it only to yourselves (Select "private)

Step 6: Click "Save" to store your information

Set your Location

You can set your location in myrimis or using "nanonavi". To set your own location:

Step 1: Login to your myrimis account

Step 2: Go to "my profile"

Step 3: Click "change location"

Step 4: Type your current location address on "location search" box OR drag and drop the icon in the map

Step 5: Click > "confirm"

Find and invite New Friend

You can find and invite new friend via search function.

Step 1: Login to your myrimis account

Step 2: Goto > friend

Step 3: Click > Search friends in myrimis

Step 4: Input your search criteria with "Keyword" and/or "distance"

Step 5: Click > Search

Step 6: Highlight "the person you intended to invite"

Step 7: Click > Invite (An invitation email will be sent)

Step 8: You will be notified via email once he/she has accepted your invitation

Step 9: You can group friend into different interest groups

Search new friends in myrimis

Step 1: Goto >friend

Step 2: Click > Search friends in myrimis

Step 3: Input your search criteria with "Keyword" and/or "distance"

Step 4: Click > Search

Step 5: Highlight "the person you intended to invite"

Step 6: Click > Invite

Step 7: An invitation email will be sent

Step 8: You will be notified via email once he/she has accepted your invitation

Step 9: You can group friend into different interest groups

Talk to your Friend via Skype

Talk to your friend via skype is really simple

Step 1: Login to your myrimis account

Step 2: Select "Friends"

Step 3: Select "List my friends by distance"

Step 4: Click on your firneds's photo on the map.

Step 5: Click the Skype icon to connect.

Create my own interest group

Step 1: Goto > Group

Step 2: Under "group administration", click > create a new group

Step 3: Input the details and click > confirm

Step 4: The group is now successfully created

Add members to a group

Step 1: Goto > Group

Step 2: Under "group administration", click > Add/remove group members

Step 3: Select the group you want to add/remove member

Step 4: "Check" to add member or "Uncheck" to remove

Upload a Photo, geotagged them and share

Step 1: Login to your myrimis account

Step 2: Goto > Geotagged photos

Step 3: Choose > public if you wish to share the photo publicly or else choose > private

Step 4: Browse the photo you wish to upload and enter description

Step 5: Click > upload

Step 6: Map will pop up, drag and drop the location icon to where the photo was taken or input an address to the search box

Step 7: Click > confirm if the location is correct

Protect your family member or asset

Step 1: Pick a phone the system support (with GPRS/3G & GPS support)

Step 2: Log on to www.myrimis.com/n via your mobile browser

Step 3: Use your myrimis user account to login

Step 4: Follow the download instruction and install

Step 5: Start "nanonavi" and Select "Options -> Tools -> Show Device ID" and record it down

Step 6: Give the Mobile phone to your family member who you want to protect

Step 7: Login to myrimis via computer

Step 8: Select "My Family" at top left corner & and Click "New Object"

Step 9: Enter the family member's information and enter the same"Device ID" you have recorded

Step 10: You can see your family member in myrimis when he/she run "nanonavi" -set to auto-reporting or geofencing starts

Troubleshooting myrimis

I can't upload photo

Please ensure your photo size cannot exceed 2 megabyte or photo is corrupted

I can't find my friend

Make sure your friend is a myrimis user, it not, he/she should go to http://www.myrimis.com and register

I loss my device

Login to myrimis, find the location of your device. If your device location was not show up, then it may be turned off or nanonavi stop running.

What is open group?

This contains location-based information available to the public and is provided by us or by our members.

Can I save any location information made available to me and organize into a group?

Yes, you can copy the available information by clicking the save button and then store it to your own interest group for ease of search.

What is Geo-tagged photo?

This function allows you to pin your photo on a digital map.

What is myrimis photo uploader?

This is a software application that allows user to upload a series of photos taken (with date and time recorded) and geo-tagged + matching them automatically in accordance with the recorded time and location of nanonavi auto reporting function.

Using myrimis secure First Time

How virtual care works?

Virtual care function allows you to share specify location information so that your friend can take care of you or your family/asset when requested.

Steps:

• Highlight the person or asset that virtual care is required

• Select “settings -> Virtual Care” on the tab

• Select “choose visible data” to define share data

• Goto “invite” and select a friend you intend to ask

• system will send an invitation email automatically and you will be notified when your friend has accepted the invitation

• once accepted, your chosen friend can see the location information and granted particulars

• to remove a friend to perform virtual care, select “remove”.

Take care of kids or elderly?

“Tracker” device sold at our shop or nanonavi allow users to automatically transmit position data based on their own requirement (time, distance or both) or even voice communication. In case of emergency, an alarm signal can be sent to designated persons. Warning signal will pop up when they log in to myrimis and nanonavi. If you want to ensure they are within a safe zone, the geo-fence function will only send out alarm signal when an object is moving beyond a certain pre-defined distance.

When you are not occupied, you can always invite your friends to take virtual care of your kids or elderly.

How to track routes?

Steps 1: Select the person or asset you want to track (with proper authority granted by friends)

Steps 2: Select “track” on the tab

Steps 3: Input your search parameter, date and time (this is Greenwich standard time, please make you own adjustment), click "search"

How to add members to a group?

Steps 1) Goto > Group

Steps 2) Under "group administration", click > Add/remove group members

Steps 3) Select the group you want to add/remove member

Steps 4) "Check" to add member or "Uncheck" to remove

What is open group?

About nanonavi

Using nanonavi First Time

nanonavi Requirement

nanonavi Support Symbian Phone, Windows Mobile and Java platform with build in GPS and/or Bluetooth support.

Download & Install nanonavi

Step 1: Open your Mobile Phone browser

Step 2: Type the URL address: http://www.nanonavi.com/m

Step 3: Fill in your myrimis User-ID and Password

Step 4: The page will lead you to the application step by step.

Locate a friend

Step 1: Start nanonavi

Step 2: Select "Search -> My friends -> [your friend's Username]"

Step 3: Your friend's position will show on the map

Get/Send my location data

1. For nanonavi-lite or nanonavi-lite/s: The location data will send to the designed site automatically. 2. For nanonavi full, three possible ways

a) With blue-tooth GPS device

Steps 1: Start nanonavi

Steps 2: Select "Setting -> GPS Setting"

Steps 3: Select "Bluetooth GPS", make sure to turn on blue-tooth function and pair the device.

b) With build-in GPS phones,

Steps 1: Start nanonavi

Steps 2: Select "Setting -> GPS Setting"

Steps 3: Select "Internal GPS"

c) Set your location manually,

Steps 1: Start nanonavi

Steps 2: Select "Tools -> set location"

Steps 3: Select country

Steps 4: Type city name, street name or zip code etc and click "OK"

Steps 5: Your selected location will be displayed on a map and confirm by clicking "Set Location" at bottom left OR

Steps 6: move the cursor (you will see "+" sign) to the right location, drop and click "set location" at bottom left.

- Set Location: In the menu, click > tools > set location.

Share my location data with friends

Steps 1: Start nanonavi and get your latest location

Steps 2: Select "Tools -> Send Position"

Steps 3: Click "Yes" to confirm send.

Find friends around you

Only for nanonavi-full

Steps 1: goto "Search -> myfriends", select search "all" or by "distance", click OK

Steps 2: search result list will be displayed

Steps 3: Goto option and you can choose "show map all" to display all your search result on map OR choose "Show Map selected" to display your highlighted choice.

Send message to a friend

For nanonavi-full:

Steps 1: Goto "Search -> My friends

Steps 2: Highlight your firend's name on the result list and select "Send Message" from option menu

Steps 3: Type your message, select "OK"

Steps 4: Your Message will be sent and your friend can read it from either nanonavi or myrimis page

For nanonavi-lite:

Steps 1: Go to "message"

Steps 2: Click "new message"

Steps 3: Type your message, select "Send"

Steps 4: Your Message will be sent and your friend can read it from either nanonavi or myrimis page

Send GPS position to friends

Step 1: Start nanonavi and activate GPS, get current position

Step 2: Select "Tools -> Send Position"

Step 3: Select "Yes" to send current position

Send emergency alarm to alert friend

Steps 1: Get you current location with nanonavi

Steps 2: Goto "Tools -> Send Emergency"

Steps 3: Select "Yes" to send an alarm

Auto-Reporting

Nanonavi will periodically (based on your own settings) upload current location to myrimis.

Steps 1: Goto "Setting -> Auto-Reporting" to define your reporting requirements

Steps 2: Goto "Tools -> Auto-Reporting"

Steps 3: Select "Enable" to enable Auto-Reporting

Steps 4: to view your reported position/route, goto “myrimis -> track”

Map your photos and share

Steps 1: goto "Tools -> Camera", make sure your mobile phone lens is not covered

Steps 2: the image will be displayed

Steps 3: Press "Capture" to take a photo

Steps 4: photo taken will be shown, you can either choose from the menu “send to myrimis” immediately via your mobile network (note: will incur carriers charges) OR “send later”, images will be stored in the phone memory (note: memory size will affect stored quantity)

Steps 5: To send stored photos, goto “menu->Tools->send stored image”

What is nanonavi-lite?

It is a simplified version of nanonavi.

GPS Settings

Step 1: Start nanonavi

Step 2: Select "Settings -> GPS Settings -> GPS device"

Step 3: Select the GPS device you are using: "Bluetooth GPS", "Internal GPS" or "No GPS"

Geofence Settings

Step 1: Start nanonavi

Step 2: Select "Settings -> Geofence Settings"

Step 3: Update "Geofence reporting mode", "Trigger distance", "Reporting distance" and "Reporting Interval", Select "OK"

Auto Reporting Settings

Step 1: Start nanonavi

Step 3: Update "Location Reporting Mode", "Reporting distance" and "Reporting Interval", Select "Ok"

Unit of measure Settings
